Franco Cabernet Franc
"Pioneer wherever you go"
Its grapes are fermented in a concrete egg system, where the wine is then aged, maintaining permanent movement through the same ovoid shape of its container. This causes the wine to evolve homogeneously, with the same temperature throughout the year, giving it a soft, but nervous structure and an exquisite, long and persistent palate, of pure fruit, without any trace of wood.
Tasting notes:
EGGO Franco is bright red with violet hues. Aroma: the nose is super complex and mineral, with a great presence of herbaceous notes, such as green pepper, as well as black pepper. Taste: the palate is juicy and fluid, with good structure and great acidity that gives a lot of freshness. Long finish in the mouth.

Features
These grapes come from the north-west of Gualtallary, at 1,350 meters above sea level. It is a micro zone comprised of alluvial soils with a large amount of calcium carbonate.
- Vinification: The grapes are vatted in concrete eggs to carry out their alcoholic fermentation. The native yeasts of the place are allowed to naturally begin to work. This egg gives the possibility of not having the need to carry out many pump-overs to extract components such as anthocyanins and polyphenols. Thanks to its ovoid shape, there is a constant movement of everything inside it, allowing smoother and more homogeneous extractions. Once the fermentation is finished, a maceration is carried out with the skins for 40 days and then it is devatted. The resulting wine returns to these eggs for aging.
