El Barba
"A different one that came from heaven"
Memorable wines have an inexplicable mystique and the origin of “El Barba” is no exception. Who would have thought that a world-class Malbec would be born from these sand dunes? Back in 2016, the small amount of grapes forced us to use concrete eggs for good fermentation. An “almost accidental” process that gave rise to an iconic Malbec from our land. Unrepeatable or rather heavenly and therefore, it could not have a better name. Aged in new French foudre of 2000 liters for two years. It has good fruit, a smooth mouthfeel and clean, varietal flavors without edges and very fine tannins.
Tasting notes:
View: intense black color with violet hues. Nose: deep and complex, very mineral, with aromas that remind us of wet ashes, charcoal, chalk. Mouth: The palate is elegant, with fine tannins and good texture, with a persistent finish.
