Gran Terroir Malbec
"Finesse that captivates"
Our 'Gran Terroir' come from vineyards planted at altitude which give life to complex and aromatic wines, given the thermal difference that occurs between day and night during maturation. Its special character, complexity and structure are given by aging in French and American oak barrels.
Tasting notes:
Zorzal Gran Terroir Malbec is intense red in color with violet hues. Aroma: great intensity and aromatic complexity, perceiving a lot of minerality, oregano, flowers and an excellent balanced contribution of lactic aromas provided by the wood. Taste: Fat: Very colored, thick and rough wine. But with very good acidity that makes it very fresh and lively, with textured tannins. It is a wine that has a lot of nerve. Long and sweet finish.

Features
This wine is a cut from different Gualtallary vineyards, which provide minerality, structure, sharp and smooth tannins. It was possible to find over the years everything that is sought in the grapes for this wine. Each vineyard has its particularity that in the end delivers a very special and complex wine.
- Vinification: It is made partly in cement tanks and partly in stainless steel tanks. A maceration is carried out with their skins for 42 days. Once fermented, it is aged for 13 months in French oak barrels for 3rd and 4th use.
- Harvest: By hand in 16 kg boxes at the same time.
- Region: Gualtallary, Tupungato, Valle de Uco.
- Oenologist: Juan Pablo Michelini.
- Varietal composition: 100% Malbec.
